The policy of Fujita Academy (below, “this Academy”) on the acquisition, use, and management of applicants’ personal information with regard to the Online Application Guidance (below, “this site”) is as follows.
(1) Acquisition of personal information
This site obtains personal names, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and other information (such as the inquiries submitted) that can be used to identify individuals through the submission and transfer of information in its input forms.
(2) Objective of using personal information
Personal information obtained from this site is used for the confirmation of examination fee payment, selection of successful applicants, announcement of exam results, creation of matriculation lists, entrance procedures, as well as other administrative, academic and welfare-related tasks related to student life after enrollment.
(3) Provision of personal data to third parties
The Academy does not provide personal data to third parties without the prior permission of the applicant, in situations covered and not covered by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
(4) Correction, cessation, and deletion of stored personal data
Out of the personal data stored by the Academy, addresses and contact information can be corrected by the applicant through MyPage. Requests for correction of other items pertaining to personal data may be made by the applicant to the Academy (the contact information for each application area is listed below) only in cases when there are factual inaccuracies in the stored personal data that need to be corrected.
If the personal data stored by the Academy are handled in a way that violates Article 16 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, or were obtained in a way that violates Article 17 of the same Act, the applicant may request (through the contact information for each application area listed below) that the Academy cease or delete the personal data in question.
(5) Management of personal information
All personal information is carefully handled, with an understanding of the importance of any personal information obtained. All efforts are made to prevent illicit access to the server environment running this site and to manage applicant data safely with regard to damage, loss, modification, or leakage.
(6) Subcontracting of handling of personal information
The Academy may contract the handling of personal information in full or part to an external contractor within the scope of the purposes of use.
